January 31, 2021
Are you always glued to The Great British Bake Off like we are? So to celebrate Bake Off, and the less-than-perfect pastry and pies we’ve rustled up many times in our own kitchens, Bridgewater Home Care Wigan decided in January to run a competition to give away a bundle of baking goods and a Bridgewater Bake Off Champion 2021 Apron! The Competition closed on 31st January 2021.
Baking for others can increase a feeling of wellbeing, contribute to stress relief and make you feel like you’ve done something good for the world, which perhaps increases your meaning in life and connection with other people! Baking stimulates the senses, helps us be creative, and this can be an activity the family can do together.
In the words of The Great British Bake Off 2015 winner, Nadiya Hussain, “Food is so much more than sustenance. Food is love.” And she’s spot on.
Thank you to everyone who has shared their bake-off treats with us. We have received a number of fabulous entries from the Bridgewater family, who fancied winning themselves a bundle of baking goods to get their children in the kitchen with them or to impress friends, family and co-workers!
FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS INVITED TO VOTE FOR THE COMPETITION WINNER
Our Bridgewater Home Care Wigan Facebook followers have now been invited to judge the competition and have until 9 am on Wednesday 3rd February to cast their vote!
Who will the WINNER be ???
This is a virtual competition so very sadly no tasting!
Could it be that our Facebook followers will judge them for :
- The best looking bake on appearance?
- The ingredients?
- The most creative idea?
