Our Bolton team have been celebrating the opening of a new regional office at Peel House, Chorley Old Road, Bolton.
Bridgewater Home Care has been well established in Bolton, with our previous office located on Chorley New Road, but we have moved to a bigger office in the town, to facilitate our growth in the area.
Founder and Managing Director at Bridgewater Home Care, Phil Eckersley, commented: “Our new Bolton office is a part of our continued growth strategy and ensuring that we have office locations that are fit for a growing high-quality care service that supports the wellbeing of the staff and takes every opportunity to upskill where possible. We look forward to taking on more employees as we grow, and this office space should help us to attract and retain the very best carers in the area. “ Phil added: “I am also proud that the move has led to the Bolton office becoming completely paperless. All paper filing systems were organised and made digital upon leaving the old office which allows for even further space to be used effectively at Peel House.”
This new office complements Bridgewater’s existing offices in Warrington and Wigan and Abigail Sharples is the experienced Registered Care Manager for Bolton who has responsibility for delivering the company’s portfolio of personalised care and support to those wishing to remain independent in their own homes.
Abigail led the Bolton team through a challenging year and remains committed to ensuring that the quality of care provided to clients remained a key priority, as always. She said: “I am thrilled with the new office space. We have had our first team meeting in 19 months and the whole team was so excited… masks were worn, and the 2-metre distance adhered to with the windows open, but we did it! This would have been an impossible task in our previous office.” Abigail added: “I am so delighted that the larger dedicated training room has already been used and is making our training sessions much more accessible and productive for our specialist care team. All the team have now visited the office and there has been a noticeable difference in team interaction and those joining mid-Covid have been able to meet their colleagues face to face for the first time in their training sessions. “

“As well as the recognition, our finalists and eventual winners will join our fantastic alumni community that supports each other all year round. From networking and thought leadership, right the way through to mentoring and guidance – being a part of our ecosystem of entrepreneurs can be incredibly rewarding.
