Wigan based, private home care provider, Bridgewater Home Care who celebrate their 10th Anniversary this year have a wealth of experience in perfecting the delivery of high-quality care at home.

Bridgewater Home Care’s Managing Director and founder, Phil Eckersley, is proud to reflect upon their recent success “We could not be prouder of all our wonderful staff who ‘Go above and Beyond’ to meet our clients’ needs in their own homes. The Greater Manchester Business Awards and our most recent nomination for the LaingBuisson Homecare Award 2020 highlights our commitment to supporting, motivating and empowering our employees to provide the help and support needed by clients to remain safe and independent at home, so families can rest assured that their loved ones are in the best hands. “

Phil went on to comment that, “The biggest impact during the Covid pandemic on the business has been managing the health and safety of our care teams, office staff and our clients. It has been a challenging time acquiring enough PPE to meet the new standards and guidelines issued by the Government and Department of Health but we are proud to have a highly enthusiastic and hardworking team with a group of key suppliers who have ensured that it is ‘business as usual’ when caring for our clients and our staff in the safest way possible.” Phil went on to add that “At Bridgewater Home Care, we see carers as real-life superheroes, and so do our clients. Those who receive quality care from us in their own homes depend on it to lead their lives with dignity and in happiness. They are often the most senior members of society and the support that care workers can bring is invaluable to them. Adjustments have been made across the board to ensure safety for all. During the crisis we have conducted well-being checks with staff and clients. We have been humbled to receive numerous emails, thank you cards and phone calls from our clients’ and their families thanking us for our efforts.“
