Jane Groarke joined the Bridgewater family in 2020 and told us recently that the one thing she loves most about her role as a Care Specialist is, “Building relationships and making a difference.”
Jane kindly answered some quick-fire questions to help us get to know her better and to find out what inspired her to work in care :
1. What is your favourite genre of film?
“History and period drama ”
2. Who is your ideal dinner party guest and why?
” My best friend .”
3. What is your favourite season of the year and why?
“Autumn, I love the colour of the leaves and it’s not too warm.”
4. What is one thing you would put on your bucket list?
” To travel more. “
5. When you’re not working how do you like to spend your time?
“Spending time with my grandchildren and baking.”
6. What is your professional background?
“I worked in catering before home care .”
7.What inspired you to join the care sector?
“I was made redundant and knew that I wanted to help people and be in a rewarding role.”
8. One other fact about you that your colleagues may not know?
“I am scared of heights! “
