Hannah Crawshaw joined the Bridgewater family this year as a Care Specialist and told us recently that she loves, “ …hearing about people’s lives, their stories and putting a smile on their faces. I go home every day knowing I have made a difference in someone’s life.”
Hannah kindly answered some quick-fire questions to help us get to know her better and to find out what inspired her to work in care :
1. What is your favourite genre of film?
” I’m not a huge film lover but if I had to pick one it would be comedy.”
2. Who is your ideal dinner party guest and why?
“My boyfriend, as due to conflicting work schedules we don’t get to spend a lot of time together! ”
3. What is your favourite season of the year and why?
“Winter – I love being cosy on the couch! “
4. What is one thing you would put on your bucket list?
“I want to travel to experience different cultures.”
5. When you’re not working how do you like to spend your time?
“I enjoy reading and being outdoors. I love going on long walks.”
6. What is your professional background?
“Before care I worked in the hospitality industry. I have worked in the care sector for over 3 years now. I previously worked in a care home but moved to home care so I could actually spend time with my clients, get to know them and provide a high standard of care which Bridgewater promotes.”
7.What inspired you to join the care sector?
” A family member works in the care sector and seeing how rewarding the role was I wanted to join the company and be part of making a difference in people’s lives.”
8. One other fact about you that your colleagues may not know?
“I lived in Lanzarote for 15 years!”
