Carers receive above average rates of pay, training and a supportive work environment. Each year we host an annual awards dinner with a disco and Christmas party for the children of staff along with regular socials at each location. Employees of the month are also awarded at each local office every month.

As we are a home care agency, employees are required to travel between client visits, and this can eat into a significant portion of their working day at times. We don’t feel it is fair for members of the team to lose out financially because of this and therefore, we pay all of our staff for travel time between client visits as well as mileage to compensate for travel expenses such as fuel.

All employees are given a minimum of 28 days holiday pay each year and are encouraged to take time off when needed. Franchise partners benefit from less recruitment and training costs, and clients benefit from a higher quality of care.

Over £600 was raised from this event. The team have hosted “Bridgewater bake-off”. Members of the office staff have taken turns to prepare and cook meals for the rest of the team. So far, meals have ranged from 3-course in-office dining experiences to a take-away from the local fish and chip shop. This activity has also been used to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research.
