Throughout February the Bridgewater Home Care team took part in the ‘Fit in Four Weeks’ challenge in support of national charity ‘Cash for Kids’.
The challenge saw participants keeping fit everyday for at least 30 minutes of their chosen exercise, all in aid of raising money and awareness for the charity Cash for Kids. The charity carries out so much amazing work throughout the UK, supporting children and young adults who are experiencing poverty, neglect or abuse across the country, as well as supporting those who have additional needs.
The charity is one that is very close to our hearts at Bridgewater Home Care. Caring is in our nature, and if we can do something to help make someone’s life just that bit brighter, we certainly will get involved! We felt honoured to be a part of such an important cause, helping to raise vital funds to care for and support children who need it in our local area, as well as throughout the UK.
Team Bridgewater were committed throughout February to get moving, feel fit, and enjoy being out and about participating in various exercises and activities.
We followed the team throughout the month to see all the different activities they got up to, which included:
- Walking
- Skipping
- Swimming
- Dog walking
- Exercise classes
- Weight lifting
- And even some playground fun!
We are so proud of the team and their achievements throughout the course of the month.
We are especially proud to have contributed to the Cash For Kids fundraiser, which has so far raised an incredible £2,345 for the charity! We can’t thank those who supported us enough, especially for cheering us on and for the kind donations.

A huge well-done to the entire Bridgewater team for their dedication to such a worthy cause and an amazing fundraiser to be a part of.
