We are proud to announce our Care Specialists of the Month for January, who have been recognised for going above and beyond over the past month.
Our Care Specialists are invaluable members of our team who care for and support clients to help them live as independently as possible, from the comfort of their own home. Our Care Specialists support clients with day to day tasks, such as home help, personal care, specialist care for medical condition or disability, along with emotional support and companionship.
We are incredibly proud of our team at Bridgewater Home Care, and recognise when our team go that extra mile to do something extra special to support a client or another team member.
Care Specialist of the Month for Wigan – Stacey
Congratulations to Stacey, Care Specialist of the Month, who joined the Bridgewater Home Care team in September 2022 and has been recognised for her invaluable contributions to the care team in Wigan.
Registered Manager, Shaneil, commented: “Stacey has become a true inspiration for others and is now such a key member of our Bridgewater Family. Well done Stacey!”
Care Specialist of the Month for Bolton – Jenny
Jenny was awarded Care Specialist of the month for January by Registered Manager, Claire, due to the incredible support she gave to a client over the past month.
Claire commented : “Jenny has gone above and beyond for her client whilst he has been in hospital, providing companionship and meal support at his bedside and making sure his mum has been updated every morning.
“His recovery wouldn’t have been so quick if Jenny wasn’t there to give him the one-to-one support during his stay. The feedback from the nurse team on the ward was excellent and they really appreciated Jenny being there with him. Well done Jenny!”

Care Specialist of the Month for Warrington – Cassie
Our Care Specialist of the Month for January in Warrington is Cassie, who goes above and beyond for clients.
Registered Manager at Bridgewater Home Care Warrington, Rebecca, commented: “Cassie always goes the extra mile for her clients and will always help her clients and colleagues where she can.”

We support all our team at Bridgewater Home Care with a range of training and development programmes, to help them enhance their skills and specialise in certain areas of care, alongside their day to day role.
We have a dedicated training manager to support Care Specialists with both their initial training programme when they join us, as well as ongoing courses and updates to their training programme. Whether a member of the team would like to progress their career with us, learn new skills or develop in specific areas of their role within care, we have a number of opportunities for each individual who joins the Bridgewater Family!
