Sophie Copeland has been with the Bridgewater family since 2018 and loves her current role as a Care Specialist.
Sophie kindly answered some quick-fire questions to help us get to know her better and to find out what inspired her to work in care :
1. What is your favourite genre of film?
“My favourite genre of film is comedy.”
2. One fact about you that your colleagues may not know?
” One fact about me is that I am learning British Sign Language. ”
3. What is your favourite season of the year and why?
“My favourite season is probably winter because I like the cold and the snow and wearing lots of layers! “
4. What is one thing you would put on your bucket list?
” One thing I would put on my bucket list is going to watch the Eurovision Song Contest because I watch it every year and I love it so much! “
5. When you’re not working how do you like to spend your time?
” When I’m not working, I like to go to Starbucks; walk my dogs, Dolly and Frank and watch Netflix…I’m currently engrossed in Grey’s Anatomy! “
6. What is one thing you enjoy most about your role?
“The one thing I love most about my job is knowing that I’ve made a difference to someone’s day just by having a chat and cup of tea.”
7. What inspired you to join the care sector?
” I was inspired to join the care sector after the death of my grandad which sparked an interest in caring for the elderly. “
8. What is your professional background?
“My professional background is Counselling and Psychotherapy , which I have a first class Honours Degree in .”
