Deborah Toward did not have a background in home care before she joined the Bridgewater family in 2019. Debs now loves her role as a Senior Care Specialist and the diversity of her clients and their life experiences.
Debs kindly answered some quick-fire questions to help us get to know her better and to find out what inspired her to work in care :
1. What is your favourite genre of film?
“Crime thrillers.”
2. Who is your ideal dinner party guest and why?
“Someone I find funny, like Lee Mack!”
3. What is your favourite season of the year and why?
“Autumn – I love the change and colours.”
4. What is one thing you would put on your bucket list?
“To visit India.”
5. When you’re not working how do you like to spend your time?
“I love spending time with my family, gardening and meditation! “
6. What is your professional background?
” I worked as a Teacher and Educational Support Manager.”
7.What inspired you to join the care sector?
“Learning about dementia.”
8. One other fact about you that your colleagues may not know?
” I ate with the Dalai Lama! “
