Kim Foster has been with the Bridgewater family since 2018 and loves her current role as a Quality Compliance Assistant ( QCA ).
Kim kindly answered some quick-fire questions to help us get to know her better and to find out what inspired her to work in care :
1. What is your favourite genre of film?
“Tear Jerkers, like The Green Mile !”
2. Who is your ideal dinner party guest and why?
” My ideal dinner guest would be Lewis Capaldi – He’s hilarious and his voice is amazing ! ”
3. What is your favourite season of the year and why?
“My favourite season is summer, because I get to jump in the pool with my son and of course get a tan ! “
4. What is one thing you would put on your bucket list?
” Learn how to swim ! “
5. When you’re not working how do you like to spend your time?
” I love to spend time with my family and friends. “
6. What is one thing you enjoy most about your role?
“The one thing I love most about my job is seeing the client’s smile knowing that I’ve made a difference.”
7.What inspired you to join the care sector?
” I was inspired to join the care sector as I previously worked in retail and saw plenty of pensioners coming into my work place, and when I got talking to them I realised that many of them were lonely. I really wanted to be able to offer them a chat and a brew so they were not always alone. “
Kim is known in the Wigan office for going ” Above and Beyond” and was even awarded a special ” lollypop” badge in 2020 as someone who made a difference in other people’s lives.
