We’re thrilled to announce the Wigan Bridgewater Bake-Off is back !!
On your marks, get set… bake!
Last year’s star baker was Steffanie Heath, who won the coveted Bridgewater Bake-Off Champion 2021 apron, hat and hamper full of baking goodies!
Steff told us at the time, “I have started baking with the children every Friday, and we have really enjoyed making the winning cake! I can’t wait to wear my apron at home! Thank you so much!”
Back by popular demand, the Bridgewater Home Care Wigan office is running our Bake-Off competition again this year!
Could you be our next Star Baker?
Whether you’re a bit of a pastry connoisseur, a dab-hand at a sponge cake or gooey brownies are more your thing, we would love to see all the wonderful creations from our Bridgewater Wigan Family!
Baking for others can increase a feeling of wellbeing, contribute to stress relief and make you feel like you’ve done something good for the world, which perhaps increases your meaning in life and connection with other people! Baking stimulates the senses, helps us be creative, and this can be an activity the family can do together.
We hope everyone who enters has lots of fun and we wish you the very best of luck!
Competition Rules
Open to all Bridgewater Home Care Wigan staff, clients and their families.
Please send in a photo of your baked goodies by 9 am on Monday 14th March 2022 and make sure you include your name and mark it “Wigan Bake-Off “.
Feel free to include any information about the inspiration for your masterpiece.

The Facebook followers from each Bridgewater Home Care location will choose their own star baker between 16th to 18th March to go head-to-head in the ultimate ‘Bake-Off’ and be crowned the overall Bridgewater Bake-Off Champion 2022!
