As the nation prepares to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th year as monarch this summer, we’re thrilled to announce our first ever Bolton Bridgewater Bake-Off !!
On your marks, get set… bake!
Bridgewater Home Care Wigan ran a Bake-Off competition in 2021 and their star baker was Steffanie Heath, a member of the Wigan home care team.
Steff told us at the time, “I have started baking with the children every Friday, and we have really enjoyed making the winning cake! I can’t wait to wear my apron at home! Thank you so much!”
It was such a success that we have decided to run our own Bake-Off competition this year, not to be outdone by our Wigan colleagues!
Could you be Bolton’s Star Baker?
Whether you’re a bit of a pastry connoisseur, a dab-hand at a sponge cake or gooey brownies are more your thing, we would love to see all the wonderful creations to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee from our Bridgewater Bolton Family!
Baking for others can increase a feeling of wellbeing, contribute to stress relief and make you feel like you’ve done something good for the world, which perhaps increases your meaning in life and connection with other people! Baking stimulates the senses, helps us be creative, and this can be an activity the family can do together.
You could win a Bridgewater Home Care Bake-Off Champion apron and a hamper full of baking goodies!

Competition Rules
Open to all Bridgewater Home Care Bolton staff, clients and their families.
Please send in a photo of your baked goodies by 9 am on Monday 14th March 2022 and make sure you include your name and mark it “Bolton Bake-Off “.
Feel free to include any information about the inspiration for your Platinum Jubilee masterpiece.

The Facebook followers from each Bridgewater Home Care location will choose their own star baker between 16th to 18th March to go head-to-head in the ultimate ‘Bake-Off’ and be crowned the overall Bridgewater Bake-Off Champion 2022, with a fantastic prize!
