Bolton’s Macmillan Coffee Morning 2022

On Friday 30 September Bridgewater Home Care Bolton hosted their annual Macmillan coffee morning, full of tea, cakes, coffee and pastries, to raise funds and awareness of the amazing work that Macmillan does.

Held at their office in Bolton, Registered Care Manager, Claire Ashcroft, invited all their team down to the office to join the fundraiser, have a team catch up, and start raising some much needed donations for such a worthy cause.

The Macmillan coffee morning is held on 30 September every year and encourages anyone to get involved by hosting their own get-together which can include providing tea and cakes, baking, cake sales or anything else that aims to get people together in support of the charity.

Bridgewater Home Care are proud to be actively involved in national and local fundraisers, and we work closely with local charities to support important causes wherever we can. We actively encourage our offices and our team to support these events with the aim of making a difference in the lives of others through not only our care services but through our support and donations too.

Something very close to many of our hearts is the work that Macmillan Cancer Support does for people across the country. Cancer affects so many people’s lives and we want to take time to support people going through such difficult times, helping them to live as fully as they can.

This year, Macmillan has raised an enormous total of £2,070,329.

Thank you so much to all those that came to be a part of our Macmillan coffee morning, and for your kind and generous donations
