Jessica came to work for Bridgewater Home Care Bolton at the beginning of 2020, initially on a part-time basis, having previously worked in a school.
Jessica kindly answered some quick-fire questions to help us get to know her better and to find out what inspired her to work in care :
1. What is your favourite genre of film?
” Horror films!”
2. Who is your ideal dinner party guest and why?
” If he was still alive – Freddy Mercury or otherwise, Johnny Depp. I just think they are both such amazing and inspirational people!”
3. What is your favourite season of the year and why?
” Summer, because I love the sunshine and going on holiday .”
4. What is one thing you would put on your bucket list?
” To travel around Europe.”
5. When you’re not working how do you like to spend your time?
” Relaxing with friends and family and going for walks with the dog.”
6. What is your professional background?
“Mostly childcare – I have worked in schools and nurseries.”
7. What inspired you to join the care sector?
” I have always been passionate about caring for others.”
8. What is one thing you enjoy most about your role?
” I love meeting and building relationships with clients.”
9. One other fact about you that your colleagues may not know?
“I’m scared of butterflies!”
