Living Well at Home Information Event

Living Well at Home Information Event Empowers Market Harborough Residents

In May, Bridgewater Home Care, in collaboration with Empatia Dementia Specialist Coaching, hosted the Living Well at Home Information Event at Market Harborough Congregational Church.

This free public event connected local residents with a variety of organisations supporting health, wellbeing, dementia care, and independent living at home.

Local Organisations Offering Support

We were delighted to welcome:

  • Age UK

  • VASL (Voluntary Action South Leicestershire)

  • NHS Social Prescribers

  • Welland Valley Legal

  • Dementia Harborough

  • Rainbows Day Centre

  • Harborough Lifeline

Each organisation provided resources, advice, and guidance to help individuals and families make informed decisions about care and community support.

Expert Talks and Advice

Attendees enjoyed talks from:

  • Alex Bast-Boverhoff – Bridgewater Home Care

  • Amy Kerti – Empatia Dementia Specialist Coaching

  • Kerry Turnbull – VASL

These sessions covered topics including dementia support, community care initiatives, and practical steps to remain independent at home.

A Stronger, More Connected Community

The event empowered attendees with practical advice, valuable contacts, and confidence in navigating local care and wellbeing services.
