Receiving the care you deserve
The Bridgewater story began after personal experiences of care for our own family. It was through this difficult time that we experienced numerous challenges that we did not expect. Finding a high quality, trustworthy and credible home care provider for our loved one proved more difficult than it should be. Like you, we don’t think that this process should have been difficult, let alone stressful and unsettling, and we soon realised that it was up to us to provide a solution.
It was from this moment that Bridgewater Home Care was established, with quality, reliability, and trust at the forefront of everything we do to this day. We soon realised how much our clients valued the honest and trustworthy approach we adopted and how they deserved so much more than just a traditional home care service; they became part of our extended Bridgewater Family.

Bridgewater Home Care was established from a passion to make a difference to the lives of others and support vulnerable people to help them live happier and more comfortably at home.
Our founder, Phil Eckersley, has been working in the care industry for over a decade, whilst also having his own personal experience of trying to source quality care for a loved one. It’s this journey that has made Phil passionate about providing exceptional support to those in need, and underpins everything Bridgewater Home Care stands for – quality care that goes beyond our clients’ expectations.
Along our journey, we have developed a professional and dedicated team with decades of experience in the health and social care sector. The team has the knowledge and expertise to best care for vulnerable individuals and allow those receiving our care to continue to live well in the comfort of their homes.
Your Care Specialist
Something very important to us at Bridgewater Home Care is relationship building; everyone we work with becomes part of our extended Bridgewater Family.
It is just as important to us as it is to you that your loved one is matched carefully with a Care Specialist who fits their personality, their preferences, likes, dislikes, and is able to build a relationship with the individual they care for, as well as the family.
Care continuity is our priority. Having the same familiar faces to visit a loved one is incredibly important to build a trusting and understanding relationship. We introduce our Care Specialists to the people we care for before any care services are provided, so there are no surprises when a loved one receives a visit from our team. We provide an environment where family members and their loved ones can build a trusting and cooperative relationship with our Care Specialists – and the wider Bridgewater family, to achieve to highest standards of care and support.
