The home becomes a sanctuary to relax and recuperate allowing individuals to focus on the things that are most important to them.
We work closely with charities and medical organisations to provide the best possible support to those living with a form of cancer. At Bridgewater Home Care we are dedicated to supporting those with a long-term illness living in their own homes, providing help with daily tasks and emotional support through our relationship focussed care service.
Our dedicated Care Specialists can liaise with medical professionals to combine personal and home help with ongoing medical treatment. By providing care at home individuals can focus on their personal and emotional health without worrying about responsibilities at home.
We provide a variety of care services tailored to those who are living with a form of cancer and who may need extra support with both physical and emotional needs, including but not limited to:
Medication assistance
Help monitoring and administering medication, and liaising with GPs or local pharmacists to keep on top of prescriptions
Personal Care
If required we can help a loved one with washing and bathing, changing clothes, toileting assistance or help maintaining a good personal hygiene routine
Emotional support post chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or hormonal therapy
Our Companions can be there as a friend to confide in, to listen and to talk to
